I'm Caitlin, and the travel bug has been a part of me for nearly my entire life. From discovering local gems to globetrotting, I aim to share my journeys and experiences—the triumphs and the trials. Does this sound too dramatic for coverage of an ice cream store? Yes, but I have a flair for that as you'll soon find out.
Traveling solo, as a single mom, and with my family has each presented distinct challenges and rewards, each crafting its own narrative.
Over the years, I've perused numerous blogs and observed that they typically present a single perspective, or one person's interpretation of various viewpoints. However, this blog is different! I'm bringing in my travel companions—my family and chosen family—to share their opinions, which might be significantly different from my own. We're excited to compile all our reviews and narratives into one collective experience!

Who We Are
Feels like the best place to start is with an introduction!
Caitlin: This is me. Travel planner & big dreamer. I'm not the "sit on the beach & relax" type. I'm the "let's go to the beach, swim in the ocean, dig up seashells, build a sandcastle, walk on the beach, etc." type. Almost everyone has one of these in their lives ... never a dull moment!
Emma: My daughter has accompanied me on travels for years and has amassed a delightful collection of travel tales. As one of the BEST travel companions, she's generally ready for any adventure.
Brad: My boyfriend has experienced many adventures, but now he's embarking on new ones with me (please send good vibes and prayers – he's going to need them).
Cathy (aka Nana): My mom, also known as Emma's Nana, is another avid traveler. She's the matriarch who says, "You plan the trip, but don't walk so fast."
What You Can Expect
This blog will cover things like:
Preparation steps
Travel itineraries
Flight and hotel bookings
Planned activities
We will offer honest reviews about what we liked, what was not necessary, and what we would change if we could. You will hear from each of us, as multiple perspectives are crucial. You will see photos and hear all the stories – and there are many!
What This Blog Isn't
This isn't about dictating where to travel or what to do. Everyone is unique, and their travel experiences should reflect that uniqueness... take what is useful and disregard the rest. HAPPY TRAVELS!
